Pavi's the most okay part of the show but why are we acting like site reviews matter? IGN gave the first 3 eps a 9/10 but they also gave Korra S2 a 9/10. The people of social media will start the actual discussion. The worst case scenario is that no one's watching, period, and there's no buzz on social media at all, but we're already at a point where people are going viral for comparing the animation quality so I doubt lack of discussion will be an issue for SH. I watched the first episode, was ok. Got bored about 10 minutes into episode 2, will check back when it's beyond the setup period.
No point in watching a "this is the origin were not explaining anything interesting till 6 more episodes" period of the show.
Don't know how they'll try to spin it but all this comes is going to come back to Korra's incredibly stupid decisions to leave the portals open which is going to be hailed as a good thing and her decisions will be retro-justified somehow even though they're blatantly fucking stupid.

-The animation is weaker than korra and Aang (they need that south korea sweatshop workers back asap). the direction was really weak in episode one but episode 2 was an improvement
-The Dialogue writing is really shit and underdeveloped, its so unnatural and forced
-voice acting seems choppy

I actually clapped when they start hating on korra. Very satisfying. I'm not looking forward to the big reveal that she was trying to save the world or whatever, I'm just happy people are hating on her.

I also don't like people hate all the avatars, not only Korra. I really wish all the hate was on Korra alone, but what can you do? makes more sense for the story. It's also Korra, so I expect her to take a shit on the entire avatar legacy and destroying the world trying to save it, it's really on character really.

Mix feeling for the series overall, Feels more avatar than korra because the post apocalyptic nature, but I kinda feel bad all the bender culture seem to be kinda erased and replace for this more alien world. I don't hate it, it's going to make exploring the world more fun, but I kinda feel bad for it. maybe is the point.

Korra is the only Avatar these people have known. Most of recorded history is lost and the Avatar hasn't been seen in 200 years.
