I had no idea this existed, thanks OP.

Satirical as it obviously is, it feels like it was coming from a place of being in a bit of a slump. Alexei got his own TV show the next year which ran for 3 seasons so it all worked out in the end.

>Oscar Zarate

Name was familiar and turns out he illustrated a few documentary part-comic part-prose books in the 80s like Freud for Beginners

He also did one page illustrations with often incomprehensible social commentary at the back of each issue of Fleetway's Crisis magazine.
>>
>>155889447
It certainly comes as a surprise
>>
>>155889447
>>155890140
OP here - I'm as surprised as you
>>
>>155887406
oh well the tube is a four rail system anyway

usually when there's a report that someone died peeing on the third rail what's meant is that they touched the rail and got shocked

if tube trains had toilets - which they never have - then it would be feasible to be electrocuted through them for the same reason that the tube uses a four-rail system (three-rail is too easy to ground accidentally through iron water pipes and other features near the track)

but in this hypothetical we're into the age of the rolling stock immediately, with the genuine and serious question of how old this carriage is because if it were a new 1980s carriage it would have a stainless steel toilet, and if it were any older than that it would be porcelain, which would act as an insulator unless there were standing water in the bowl and the u-bend were partly or wholly cast iron

but since this is apparently the old British Rail-style direct discharge toilet it is technically feasible onto a live rail if you're peeing at the same time that the flush is running; there would be quite a lot of water as low-flow toilets were relatively new concepts at the time this was published
>>
>>155890395
PLEASANTLY surprised I hope!
>>
>>155887406
didn't some guy in chicago get killed by doing that?
>>
>>155891329
the Evanston guy? no probably not

it's not impossible that it could happen, it's just that it's much more likely you're close enough to the rail that you touch it with part of your body and get electrocuted that way; Evanston Darwin Award climbed down onto the track to pee, and it was nearly midnight and he'd been out drinking
>>
>>155890568
Thanks random Anorak.
>>
>>155850299
The artstyle is too...sophisticated for me. But kudos to the OP for doing a storytime anyway.
>>
>>155850864
Squint hard enough and it's a Red Bull commercial
>>
>>155891491
>too...sophisticated
You serious?
