I have an easy idea for how we get rid of literal whos before qualifiers. Basically we include an extra round between nominations and qualifiers. During this round, anons can scroll through a list of all the nominated characters and select the ones they recognize and want in the tournament. At the end of it, all the votes are tallied up, and all characters who didn't get enough votes are removed from the running. And then after this, we go on to qualifiers as normal.

Why is it even a problem that there are so many literal whos? It really isn't that hard to just scroll through the qualifiers form and ignore them. If you're free enough to sit in the thread and shitpost you're free enough to spend a bit of time going through the characters. It doesn't cause the whole tournament to fall apart. And if you really don't want to and just want to get to the few characters you do support, just use ctrl+f.
