I love Johnny Test.Reading the leaked pitch bible reaffirmed to me what I find so drawing about him, that being his existence as this platonic ideal of a young boy. His mannerisms, behavior and characterization are all so cute and charming. Add the fact he's essentially all-powerful thanks to his sisters and these features are further accentuated. He's boyish, huffy, and somewhat selfish but not to any degree that makes him more than just the occasional brat. At the end of the day, Johnny loves his folks, and when stakes are high, he falls back onto his internal sense of heroism. Thus, doing the right thing. Additionally, his apprehension to romance and girls is super cute, and when mixed with crushes of his own, you get this confused, love-struck Johnny that shoots my moe meter through the roof.I sometimes fantasize our domestic lives together would parallel that of his parents. I'd come home from work and he's there, standing on a wooden stool in the kitchen, apron-donned, cooking the worst food imaginable. I do my best tolerating the horrible stew and meatloaf he's tried recreating from watching his dad. I'm happy as he tells me about all his adventures in the time I was gone. That he saved the town from some psychotic long-nosed iceman, or his encounter with talking moles dressed like the Village People. Or maybe this time, it's as simple as Eugene lusting after his sister again. Then, I'm told about his more mundane worries and excitements that only an 11-year-old boy would care about. The newest comics, toys, T-rated video games that just came out; that sort of thing. How school sucks and everything fun is locked behind needing "parental approval", to which I sympathize and say I'm always here to help if he needs me.I'm not sure what strings I'd need to pull after the portal to Porkbelly opens up and I get turned into a cartoon character, but I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there.>inb4 diddy foidYes. It makes me happy.

>>155883094Tempted to say based but only if you can prove your devotion with cute johnny fan art
>>155883279Sadly, there's not much serious or even cute art of him. People generally dislike the show and with everyone forced onto microblogging platforms, I'd have to be recommended some good by a kind enough algorithm.People either wanna draw him getting tortured or being turned into a girl. But I'll at least try with what I have.
>>155883094Kys weirdo
>>155883353Lottie was one of the very few people that stylized him in a way that brought out his cuteness the most. I really wish she drew more or at least, posted some of these in full.Currently, I'm looking for an animation I saw forever ago of him hugging Dukey.
>>155883693How do you draw like this?
>>155883716Lots of practice and copying off the show I'd imagine. They're some of the best.
>>155883594>Currently, I'm looking for an animation I saw forever ago of him hugging Dukey. It was this artist, but it seems he deleted it. Very sad.

>>155883094you and the weirdo foid from moral oral threads would get along
>>155883094You do know character rigs have been out for a whlle now?
>>155885626>Where does the term shota come from?I can actually answer this.Shotacon, short for 'Shotarou Complex', came as a suggestion from a 1981 issue of Fanroad, a Japanese animanga magazine. Its editors responded to questions and queries they'd get sent in by their fans near the end of each issue, and with the moe/lolicon boom in full effect, one reader asked what you'd call the inverse of a lolicon. In other words, what do you call a woman who's into young boys from anime/manga.The editors responded, almost jokingly, that they be called 'shotacons' after the main character of Tetsujin 28, as he was very poplar with the ladies at the time. Other names for the complex also existed, like 'toricon' (after Umi no Triton) or ribocon (short for 'little boy') but eventually, shotacon just stuck and that's what we use even to this day.>>155885766I'd love to shake her hand.
>>155885883well, you would be a good addition to waifu wednesday threads. there's only like 2 consistent husbandofags that still post there and you seem passionate enough to talk about johnny there

>>155886059that's who i was referring to when i said 2. she is strange but i'm glad she calmed down after the hazelschizo va incident >>155886149quite based. good luck on your endeavors johnny anon. i'm pretty sure someone will make a thread tomorrow. if not, next week since people wanted a thread closer to halloween
>>155883094Cool I guess, I miss shows for boys to be honest. Just fun adventures with zero moral lessons or vegetarian stuff.
>>155886567Part of Johnny Test's popularity with its age group was because Johnny's an easy character for boys to self insert as. Only difference is he has wish fulfillment with the sister's inventions. Same reason Fairly Oddparents was a success, except that's with magic.
>>155883094I always wanted to be inside him
>>155886807You're the first person to have ever said this and not be from baraag or talking about his genderbend. Congrats.

>>155890207Must be why you're always tired.
>>155883094I've been saying this for years
>>155890267Why was Johnny Test remade?
>>155890306because he's hot
>>155890310To be honest, the way Johnny Test is scantily clad in the show seems somewhat off to me. I guess it's because his body is strangely detailed and defined compared to his very simple, cartoon head. Especially when you go below the waist.Still cute nonetheless. Pre Flash made it look the best with how visually expressive his whole body was. I'm still mad about the switch over.
His redhead sisters are hot.
