>Comic by Sonic comic writer Daniel Barnes >He promotes this as Sonic x Kingdom hearts First issue is out and I liked it. Anybody else read it?
>>155887348looks like something from 2007 that people would find really cool, storytime it.
>>155887348>Sonic x Kingdom heartsThat sounds gay

>>155887563Why is Queen Hiling in this comic? And why is she a knight instead of a queen?
>>155887624This is the book’s take on Prince Charming. His name is Chadwick Charming and Captain of the the Paladins basically magical cops
>>155887348>>He promotes this as Sonic x Kingdom heartsTwo of the most autistic fanbases of all time with only one good game in the franchise?

>>155887829Yeah they’re all takes on fairy tale characters. Jack is meant to be the white rabbit from Alice in wonderland
>it's like popular thing 1 meets popular thing 2 This is atleast 90 percent of indie comics sadly
>>155887348i legit thought this was a Nortubel comicno joke, the designs are similar specially the black chick with the colored hime cut
>>155888397It’s a technique from Save the Cat in how you pitch things to people. Because the average person likes a simple explanation and likes having things to compare too and the same is said for executives. It’s not just an indie comics thing
>>155888397The best and most successful pitches are the ones that can be explained in the fewest words possible, and "X meets Y" is one of the simplest ways to convey an idea, even if it isn't perfectly accurate.
>>155887348> Kingdom Hearts You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.
>>155888397What gets me is they showed a bunch of the inspirations, yet from what I've already seen of the action and writing it would have been better not to show the bar they're already not meeting.Every one of the inspirations for Jack and Jill had a strong first impression, but they seem very much like Sonic background characters instead of characteristic protags.
>>155887827>>155887832whhoa
>>155887348Retarded garbage.
>>155887812Oh good ita girl. I can jack to her safely now.
>>155887961So is that Little Red Riding Hood on the left? Who's the masked man?

>posting rule breaking animeDropped
>>155890249First off, Japanese comics are called 'manga,' not anime. Second, this ain't a japanese comic anyhow.
>>155890249That's the best compliment you could give to a weeb.
>>155887348Here's a bump on me, OP.
>>155887696Why does he look like a woman?
They got Patrick ‘Spaz’ Spaziante to draw promo art just to show how deep the Sonic influences goes
