Got it? Are you sure? Alright then son, buckle up.Now you have to reinvent their originstory. You can change whatever you want, within logical parameters. For example, you have Murdock gain cyber-implants and become Daredevil, but you can't make him a SHIELD Agent, give him implants, ditch the lawyer-stuff and costume, because then the only thing that resembles DD is the name. But here's the catch/swerve to make things interesting:You also have to change the setting/time period/universe. Having Peter be the son of AIM Agents who's also black and gay is "new" and all,but hardly a revamp. So why not put him in a futuristic world, or turn him into a Spider-Monster in a fantasy land? That kinda stuff.

>>155897705Batman set in the old west, where Bruce Wayne's family were wealthy industrialists bringing civilization to the frontier before they were gunned down in the street by an outlaw outside of a theater. By the time that Bruce grows up and pursues revenge as a vigilante, law and order have come to the city of New Gotham, but its all under the pay and control of tycoons and robber barons. Bruce dons the mask to protect his identity from the corrupt excuse for the law in the city and fights with throwing knives and his grabbling hook which he swings around like a flail in a fighting style that he has improvised for himself, but which also means that nobody really knows how to fight. He carries a gun, the same gun that was dropped by the outlaw who killed his parents as he fled the scene of the crime, but only because he is still looking for the man it belongs to.
Captain America doesn't wake up in modern time. He wakes up in the 31st century ruled by a despotic Kang. America itself has become a myth that only people in the underground resistance believe in. During their raid to free some of their allies they discover the frozen, yet still living body of Captain America who, while suffering amnesia rallies himself to their cause. The big twist though is that it's not Steve Rogers. It's John Walker. Former US Agent.
