Let's have a comfy thread /co/. Pick a character you love and would like to write, and post your ideas for your run. In-Continuity, its own thing, reimagining, whatever, it all counts. Just don't post b8 and be genuine.Personally I'd go with Ghost RiderJohnny Blaze, always liked him over Ketch.Would do something similar to his old series, where he's going around the west, doesn't really belong in a city setting, that's everyone else's shtick, not his.Have to be rated M, as Ghost Rider kills at the end of the day and this will mostly horror as well.He goes around the midwest and west, gets into some really crazy shit. Investigates and deals with serial murderers, towns where redneck cults have taken over, general creepy stuff in the backwoods of the midwest. Get involved with more serious villains and not some Joe Blows he runs into on the highway. Crosses paths with the Rangers in Texas who obviously don't approve of his methods. Have an arc where he teams up with Man-Thing in the everglades to investigate horrific abominations emerging from the swamps caused by an unknown source. Maybe have some villains who are victims of his burning touch/penance stare recovering in a psych ward, they escape and team up to try and kill him. I would only have him cross over with Doctor Strange or maybe Moon Knight as he's a loner and Doctor Strange can help out with magic related problems. This would also give people a chance to see more of the Marvel US other than just New York or LA. Also obligatory Orb arc because you just have to.
Power Girl for me. I always thought there was unrealized story potential in exploring how surviving the destruction of her entire universe and being forced to call a new one home not only affects her, but how the universe itself reacts to this new, uninvited presence. That would be the throughline running in the background. I'd bring back old characters from prior (pre-New 52) runs and rework them as needed into a suitable supporting cast and rogues' gallery, while also creating new characters for the plots I have in mind. They're already there, just use them. As for the tone, I wouldn't go too silly or too edgy-I want there to be a balance so readers don't get whiplash when I move on from one plot to the next.Overall, I'd avoid the mistake previous writers make, where they just discard everything and then throw their hands up in the air when they don't know what to do with her-I want to build and expand on what works, and what doesn't can be adjusted to fit into what I have in mind.
>>155900086SleepwalkerUnderutilized and has a cool concept that honestly isn't exploredHe's a form of psychic police, protecting the mindscape from dangers and criminals. I'd return to that status quo and take it like a mix of monster kf the week and police story. New mind criminal shows up, causes damage, Sleepwalker arrests him. Add more into the story and introduce more psychic concepts and let the crimes be stranger and stranger Dreameaters in the begining, psychic vermin, possessors, then add psionic criminals, hive mind cults, tulpamancers, more and stranger dangers all around and give him a physical squad and some fellow sleepwalker allies One storyline: Sleepwalker is now fighting a bunch of tulpas and noticeably they are of fictional characters, waifus, comfort characters, pop culture characters abound. Turns out someone online on a image board site is giving legitimate advise on how to make tulpas and is giving them to noticeably unstable people, creating corrupted tulpas to cause chaos. So now sleepwalker needs to track the culprit through the internet and stop him before anymore dangers arise.I'd expand more and more to see how stra ge I cna turn the psychic realmCool right?
>>155900086You know, you'd guess orb would be invited by the x-men or something. Is he not a mutant? Bunch hypocrites those muties
>>155902004Based as fuck, would read
>>155900086Silver Surfer. I'd like to have him visiting different worlds and cosmic anomalies, but amping up the astrophysics and sci fi tenfold. I'd like to make him a genuine space philosopher. Make Galactus more abstract, given the different worlds. Perhaps with an adventure plot involving the Celestials, I'd like to write and draw a story that would make the Marvel cosmos feel vast.
>>155900086Star SapphireJust kind of feels overdue
I want to write an arc of Ghost Rider where he teams up with The Little Matchstick Girl
