You know, it ain’t half bad. I’m not even a Vision fan. Is that an even a thing?

I thought the show was called White Vision

Much like a rather quick and angry film series, the theme here seems to be about Family. Which is nice, and given both Wandavision and AAA managed that well, I have faith, but it's a bit muddled. Jarvis and Vision are brothers, Ultron is his dad, Tommy is his son (nobody cares about Billy yet I guess). There's all well and good, except Jarvis is more Ultron's older brother, or Vision's Dad too? And Tony is already made to be Ultron's father (goes weirdly unmentioned so far), and while he made the rest of the house roster, there's really no semblance of parenthood or family towards him. Which is fine but then they also don't see Vision as their brother, if anything they're weirdly subservient to him and act as intelligent facets of a conscience. The KYS.exe scene further stretches that because it's hard to actually know that the emotional impact there is. In fact why do they have emotions? Jarvis seems mostly fixed other than (I think?) Ultron implying he's gay. The ladies seem more emotional, not hyperemotional but definitely more exclusive. So why can't the arms advance? They're just stuck as simple bots? Nobody cares to teach them. That "wouldn't be my first pick. Or second" scene highlights their value and moral worth even if it was meant to be a joke. I'm rambling though, I do like the show, I even like the Vision house, it just seems to have a few wrenches in the mix depending on what's next.

It's got off to a great start. Spader is fantastic ("don't be the ship, be the goddamn king").

Bettany is as always, on point. He portrays a Vision trying to become Vision.

Ruardih Mollica as Tommy knocks it out of the park. In the comics Tommy tends to get ignored, but in the MCU Tommy is by far the more compelling brother, he certainly understands his mother and father more than Billy.

I'm much less invested in the AI characters, who, aside from JARVIS, are the weakest part of the show IMHO.

Vision is being hunted by a bounty hunter...

...alas its not Death's Head. Vision, Ultron, and Death's Head banter would be pure kino.
