Looking over the history of Symbiote comics, and the early 2000s were a bleak era. We didn't really get back into some good stuff until Mike Costa, then Donny Cates and Al Ewing, despite a few misteps here and there, brought things forward in a good way, set the stage for Charles Soule to really shine.Ram V seems to have been the weak link of the modern era. His Carnage run sucked.
