The Pete's are cats. Cats can be seen in the classroom with max and PJButA lot of this didnt make it into the show bible. They just stopped talking about it when working out episodes between the different studios making episodes.By the time extremely goofy movie came out, they were just drawing humans with black dot noses. The goofs are never painted as clearly or overtly black. Like goof and max never have that aggressive fake masculinty of black culture of the late 90s or early 00s.
