>>155969957That's what pissed me off in that Tiny Toons episode where Babs is acting like there's no female role modelsfirst of all, Fifi has no trouble idolizing Pepe, so you have no excuse. Secondly, there's fucking dozens of classic female looney tunes characters. As a goddamn five year old when the show came out, I had no trouble thinking of at least a couple.and the fact that, in the end, she settles on fucking Bosko's girlfriend Honey, who exists as his Minnie Mouse, not even her own independent character, and that they had to censor their designs because nobody wants to talk about the fact that all old cartoons were meant to represent scrappy, plucky black kids.. ugh. what a mess. It did establish some neat metacanon about cartoons, though, which Slappy and the Warners would run with later.
