Messing with kaufmos head, repeatedly making pair up Adventures when there are an odd number of people, an abstractions repeatedly happened in the private rooms where the only other character who can go in there is Kaine, Jaxs having keys to everyone's room seems to have been some reference to him understanding that that is how people abstract and not wanting to allow people to walllow in their rooms on bothered for days on end.We know that the first group of abstractions were caused by Kane messing around in their head repeatedly. We know that ribbit abstracted after spending a lot of time in a room that only her and Kane had access to. We know that kaufmo abstracted due to Cain giving him a fake Escape Adventure that drove him insane. And we know that after Jacks abstracted Cain revealed that he had been there for a while and his first Instinct was to offer to get rid of him to help the others out. It looks increasingly like he attempts to manipulate their minds to make them like him and when that causes them to abstract he helps the others by getting rid of the monster

He caved and let Able throw him.When he tried to leave on his own in 8, all Pomni had to do was firmly tell him to come back later, and he agreed.These reasons are why people complain about how Jax's abstraction was handled.
