People are skeptical about this little kickstarter of his because he is working on a game called Nightmare Cops for the better part of a decade now yet still isn't near the finish line. Jeff, or JohnnyUtah, is one of the OG Newgrounds guys that made the site what it is and created Tankman. He's best friends with Tom Fulp and is good friends with other guys like Oney and Psychicpebbles and has collaborated with them on a lot of projects.
Jeff has always been known as sort of a chill "tough guy" that doesn't take shit but over the years he's seen as a little bitch now. He likes to talk shit and vaguepost about things like a teenage girl and deletes posts when he doesn't get the response he wants. He spergs out over politics especially.
Just recently Oney got into drama and both Tom Fulp and Jeff threw him under the bus which was seen as a bad move by most. Instead of retracting the decision once the drama turned out to be absolutely nothing, Jeff doubled down and is giving non-answers and trying too hard to appease the "new" audience Newgrounds has. It's all just very jarring because for the longest time it seemed like Jeff was one of the more laid back mature guys but in recent years he seems to have had weird trolls remorse but always wants the last word on everything

tl;dr Jeff was friends with popular NG guys like Oney, turned on him and tends to act like a pussy when confronted so it rubs people the wrong way

That's more or less my thoughts on it. I think if it was a pattern or he was still doing it (at 35 no less) then yeah, lynch him, but he did something kind of shitty 13 years ago and hasn't repeated it. You have one guy in here acting like he held down and violated an 8 year old, when instead he just got into a relationship with someone who was a year too young to really understand any nuances of relationships or sex.
