It’s the same issue I have with ennis writing these “pencil-pushing officers” who are always portrayed as useless wusses who get everyone killed. In real life, you need intelligence officers, logisticians, engineers and all the other people who aren’t frontline soldiers.Literally nothing Patton accomplished in North Africa would have been possible without people like George Marshall and Ramsey keeping his forces supplied with food, ammunition and fuel.And that’s precisely my issue with Waller: she’s an intelligence agent.
