>Manganiello revealed that Affleck planned to make the film “a superhero version of David Fincher’s The Game” that would see Deathstroke “dismantle Batman’s entire life” after being led to believe that the Caped Crusader murdered his son. Deathstroke’s revenge would include killing Commissioner Jim Gordon (J.K. Simmons), taking Alfred Pennyworth (Jeremy Irons) hostage, and breaking into the Batcave. He also claims that the film would have featured a mid-movie fight in which “Deathstroke would nearly kill both Batman and Batgirl before they would both escape via an aboveground train.”>Manganiello says the film would have ended with a “climactic one-on-one showdown through the streets of Gotham” that Affleck said would be inspired by the CGI fight sequence from the Batman: Arkham Asylum video game helmed by Tim Miller. “It sounded good to me,” Manganiello writes. “I told Ben how great I thought his films were, especially The Town, and how I was really looking forward to seeing his Best Picture version of a Batman movie.”https://ew.com/joe-manganiello-ben-affleck-scrapped-batman-plot-revelaed-12174365
Literally just slotting in Batman for the Teen Titans, huh
>>155987187Great idea. Then maybe for a sequel they could have Deathstroke's other son and ex wife visit Batman so Batman can stop Deathstroke once and for all and then in the threequel Deathstroke and Batman have a begrudging mutual respect that goes out the window when Deathstroke has to kill the other son himself
>>155987187They already leaked this years ago.Deathstroke vs Batman, but it turns out Ravager had died fighting Robin just like in the comics and Batman took the blame. Then they bond over their dead kids.It was shit then, it's still shit now.
>>155987403Wait so Joker didn't even kill Robin? Or there's two dead Robins?
>>155987187At least the MCU had the excuse that its actors were starting out in their mid-30s. This universe os just getting started and everyone is in their 50s
>>155987187Sounds cool.
>>155987783There was some internal debate about who had died, whether it was Dick, as the only existing Robin, or Jason, with Dick set to be introduced later. In the latter scenario, Dick abandoned the cowl and his vigilante life after Ravager’s accidental death, vanishing from everyone’s lives.
