Now that 4chan is back online, I wanted to say this movie absolutely blows. Miles sucks, it isn't funny, and the animation is a gimmick.
Yeah, can't get over the shitty frame rate

>>155988061I liked it
and they ruined a good gwen look with a stupid ass haircut
>>155988061The enjoyment of this movie relies entirely on how the third movie ends up being.
>>155988061I was honestly pretty confused by the people praising the plot, when it's a plothole ridden mess filled with some pretty wild character contradictions. Gwen getting into a hard to get into school and not being noticed because she 'Sensed a Spider', even though Miles met her on his first day? Did she fucking sense the future? What does that mean? The other spider-people literally just drop in in the middle, somehow. Then we have Kingpin do do many wildly out of character moments back to back? Some of them can be explained, like him shooting Prowler and then just forgetting he has a gun and a clear line of sight to Miles, maybe he was out of bullets or something and he wasted his one shot. But there's no character justification for either the leadin to the finale where he puts aside his vocally stated all encompassing drive to see his family again to... have a party? He has the data when they swing away, he can do that shit right there. Why is he having a Spider-Man party? Turn the thing on and get his family back, instant. Just a complete 180 from what he did the entire rest of the movie. Somehow even worse is when he just up and forgets the slam move that killed previous Peter. We know his exact way of acting in this exact scene and for some reason he just freezes and lets Miles slooowwwly get back up and lay his hand on his shoulder. Miles didn't win, the videogame boss had a glitch and let him wind up his attack, completely robbing him of his entire character buildup as the next spider-dude. Just bad writing after bad writing upon bad writing to justify moving from one set piece to another and to wind up unfunny comedy routines like them sneaking in, and I don't get why it got praised.
That's a very common pedestrian opinion on this siteAlmost nowhere else though
>>155989191pretty sure it wasn't miles' first day, he mentions that he hadn't seen gwen around when they first meet
>>155988079It's for women, women struggle with "too many" frames. Don't believe me? Pay attention to who gets most vocal about this "style".
