Aislop storytimeI feed the ai the war of the caimans by Horacio Quiroga a short tale from 1906
The captain is the perfect villain
The caimán filled waters of the Parana are the happy ending
I also generated one based on the book Pacha Pulai from 1935
>>156001041Wrong file will delete
Chapter 2
>>155999730Curious slop anon
I'm more impressed by how AI didn't fuck up with square panels
>>156001492I wanted to adapt south american science fiction and adventure literature
>>156001561I've been using AI very little. How is this done, and how much human involvement is there in it? Like, do you just type "make a comic of this story [copy/pasting a link to the story]"? Or do you describe each panel's appearance individually?
>>156001673I don't even type, I talk to the phone and describe what I want then as you said get the text online and it generatesI edit here and there as is very involved as I generate pages one by one but from writing the script it generates drawings and panels by itself I think the script Is the key part
>>155999730Damn, AI makes better comics now than actual comic creators, I also like how it kinda looks like old master prints from the 1600s or 1700s.
The story has around 6 chapters, I generated 2, I will finish the rest soon as it's stupidly easy and incredible rewarding
>>156001876It slightly adapt the style to fit the story
>>156001561Out of curiosity why a comic and not animation form? You would get like 10 times more eyeballs and praise on YouTube and Twitter than here. Normal comics barely get any attention even here.
>>156002076I think it does comics better
Like the fidelity to what you wanted to generate
>>155999743These don't look like caimans they look like crocodiles
>>156002217Technically they are yacares
That's what I have in english as this are south american books, am also working on my own comics as I feel like I found an infinite cómic glitch
>>155999730AI has officially gone too far.I tolerated AI porn, AI cheating, and AI stealing.but this is too much, enough is ENOUGH.
>>156002473More ai
>>156000343Good shit
Hmmm, it's not bad. There might be a few mistakes here and there, like when that guy's scar gets mirrored a few times, but other than that, AI will be able to draw good comics in different styles pretty soon. I'm planning to ask it to copy Tim Sale, Darwyn Cooke, and Hergé styles, I want it to be a bit cartoony, with flat colors and clear lines, but still realistic enough, and then I'll create some weird stuff with it. I'm thinking I'll have to wait 2-3 years for it to get better and more consistent.
>>155999730Genuinely love this. Gonna save a couple reaction images from them
>>155999730why don't you feed yourself to a job interviewsage in all fields
I'm mostly happy about learning about the source material. I'm casual /lit/ so this was interesting.
>>156004334>Comics on a comics board:(
>>156005191Quiroga is a master did horror, sci fi and adventure
Go away
Rain of fire by Leopoldo Lugones 1906
These are a chore to look at and read
>>156006489I like em
I like that old school pacing of them
Next one
>>156005685>Quiroga is a master did horror, sci fi and adventureI forgot that Horacio Quiroga wrote "La gallina degollada"
>>156007164He has a story about robots that I wanted to make
>>156000343This is funny as fuck, but I can't say I think there are good. The panels are uninspiring and poorly posed, the art is that generic waxwork human/excessive unrealistic detail mishmash all online generators seem to produce (only stable diffusion seems capable of creating interesting styles) and the perspective and proportions are often very off. AI still has a long way to go before it can consider these things like a human artist.
>>156006489Agreed, there's too much detail and looks very sterile
>>156007305I like the style maybe because I used to read indie comics that were very similar
>>156007351>I like the style maybe because I used to read indie comics that were very similarYou mean indie comics that were made with AI?
