I'm like 90% sure the "Once took a texan to a wedding!" and, "I took a man to a graveyard!" were supposed to lead into each other, and weren't separate events. The man and his wife were driving to their wedding, or back home after it, and they crashed and the wife died. Then the second car later drove him to his wife's grave/funeral. (alternatively the man died in the car crash and the 2nd car "took a man to a graveyard" meaning to bury him)
