Notice how most crew art we see are storyboards or some design pages. No actual animation, this is why storyboards need to be super expressive so the outsourced studio doesn't fuck it up. Also why being consistent is so key. Look at shows like SU where because of the inconsistent crew art the models for the characters changed every other episodes. You really need to add a bit more so it won't look stiff if they did the poses as expected the model would literally look 1000 times stiffer. If anything having such expressive storyboards and more frames in between compared to some others really helps the animators to figure out what they need to do.
