You guys have this fight every single thread but you can't compare apples to oranges. ATLA was Bryke trying to create their own Middle Earth, the so-called "filler" episodes built that world. It's what both Korra and ASH stands on. Would you give a shit about New Ba Sing Se without Ba Sing Se? My point isn't that ATLA Book 1 "mogs the shit out of" ASH. Unlike Korra which was more of a spin-off sequel-epilogue to the original series that was never meant to last more than one season, ASH is meant to once again expand the lore of Avatar again.
