All of Korra's poorly written plotlines could have been absolved if the plotlines themselves were outlets leading to Asami eventually leaving the team and turning into an antagonist and I mean this because when you look at everything exactly how it was written there is a whole ass rap sheet of reasons for her to realize that not only was her father right about everything but the equalists were clearly not doing nearly enough. That moment should have happened during the blimp ride to Ba Sing Se which to me was the moment of no return. That scene from The Goofy Movie where Max deliberately chooses the path to the power line concert over the path that leads to the watering hole and then Goofy being upset and disappointed about it that should have been Asami the moment Korra starts bringing up how they need to escape. Asami's response should have been "we?"Season 2 should have been the domino effect for all of this.
