Assuming the issues will be regular 20 - 24 page comics, I don't see the story hitting act two unless they're just focused on speeding through the broader tale without focus on the many little details. All very minor, brief glimpses into the world.Part of the reason it is so expansive is the interludes. Worm frequently has chapters from the perspective of random characters, sometimes characters the viewer hasn't met yet, or are otherwise very minor to the plot. Worm itself is completely standalone, but it is long. 1.6 times the length of the compiled harry potter books in word count, for something comparable. So I honestly don't think 32 issues would get very far at all unless it skips the details, and the details are where it shines.But it'd surely be planned to get through a sort of raid boss scene that basically sums up the first mega-arc of the story.
