Is there truly no other artist akin to Mossa when it comes to quality and dedication he puts towards its artwork?

I really hate to give so much hype to a individual but this artist has something generational in him. He genuinely draws art for passion and every single piece has unique sincerity to it that few artists truly portray.

He genuinely draws the most aesthetically looking little boys and girls. And I’m not even someone who’s into shota or loli, but he draws boys who actually look like boys, with the proportions and intense characteristic of boys rather than just midget adults. I wish more Western artists would draw children this way.
>>
i like his art but i dispise him as a person. i don't agree with the art he did inspired by a real girl murder. that is what i'm about to say. there is many other artists that draw better similar historical, lolisho, western and trap shit and aren't scum. like sabu or simon. stop idolizing shit.

What really gets me is how unhinged this artist gets when it comes to being historically accurate.
Like you might assume that the emperor is rather inappropriately clothed, but no, he is legit on point on how the anatolian hunterer-gatherer populations put garments on.
Not to mention the background depicts gobekli tepe, the oldest confirmed human settlement and complex structure making, which is found in anatolia, the emperors birthplace.

what
>>
>>156143169
Oh yeah that's a thing. Basically you do an incision around the abdomen so you can grab a part of the intestine. Then you nail that intestine to the pole and force the person to march around thr pole in one direction, which causes the intestine to wrap around it slowly, disembowling the person in process until their guts are fully unraveled around it

Its not about just looking at a reference, its actively pursuing and finding a proper and accurate reference for that specific time period.
In the OP post for example Mossa could’ve easily just used the smiling friends design for Augustulus by depicting him with a toga and laurel. Instead, he went a step beyond and properly depicted the Emperor in royal purple with tunica, jeweled diadem and the cloak because during this time the romans more resembled byzantines than the toga wearing republic and early imperial rome.
>>
>>156143348
>Desensitized
>To shit literal children share as a joke
I mean, I guess you could say we as a society are desensitized, sure, but yeah I'm not going to care much about someone making a doodle referencing an atrocity.
>>
>>156143318
That's not the point.
>>
>>156143271
It’s an OC. This was commissioned to Mossa by a fan.
>>
>>156143411
>That's not the point.
Sounds like that's the point. Feel free to explain otherwise.
>>
>>156142091
The best thing about Mossa's work is that it reflects an intellectual interest in his subjects. It's why he would go above and beyond to get the costume right, and for the scenes he draws to reflect some historical event or something of cultural significance. Most artists have fans, but he has fan communities. He has Middle and South-American fans who like his indigenous artwork. He has military fans. He has Warhammer fans. He has dinosaur autist fans. And he has /co/ fans. They can pick up his genuine interest in those topics. That can't be faked.
>>
>>156143433
Sure. Madness Combat is violent, edgy and over the top in terms of gore and people enjoy it. However. There is a distinction between enjoying a spectacle of something and getting sexual gratification from it. That changes the context heavily. Moss with his work falls into that.
>>
>>156143133

>>
>>156143544
I just find it more disturbing when people fetishize death and the act of killing which is Moss's forté. If you don't see the nuance in than that I don't think it's something you can actually understand.
>>
>>156143569
>fetishize death
By simply depicting it?
You do know that what he showed happening to Vicky is what actually DID happen to that girl in real life, right?

You are either profoundly autistic or know what I am getting at and refusing to aknowledge it. It doesn't take genious to know when someone makes art of heinous things because they find it gratifying. It's like saying the Baby Smurf webcomic is just a realistic depecition of systemic abuse of baby orphans.
>>
>>156143627
>It doesn't take genious to know when someone makes art of heinous things because they find it gratifying.
And what's the issue in that? Some people feel great after painting a nice landscape, other feel great after painting pictures of hell.
Some people like to explore the mundane, others the disturbing.

I like Mossa's art, it has a strange sort of "grimy" look to it but it's technically impressive and the historical accuracy he puts into his historical art is way better than most artists. The loli and guro thing is fucked up but if I hated/eschewed the work of every artist who was a degenerate then I wouldn't be able to use this board (or this site, for that matter). And given the fact that he's a Korean neither the lolifaggotry nor the gurofaggotry are particularly surprising, there's like 2 korean artists I know of or whose work I like that don't draw one or both of those things

I don't know man. When people get their jollies off by doing drawings of dead kids I don't think they are exactly a character of stable moral fiber. If you don't see that as a point of concern I suppose that's a faultline we can't really reconcile on, but I don't think it is an unreasonble position for people like me to hold either when it comes to artists like Moss.

>>
>>156144132
That's fair, I personally try to know as little about the personal lives of the artists I consume again barring if they did any IRL heinous behavor.
Growing up on an internet where I got to see fanfiction writers and compare them to the partial view I had of professionals, and then getting to see the line between the two dissolve in real time has soured me toward the idea of "artist as present personality" entirely.

Ehh, you're pretty typical of the puritan zoomer generation; raised Christian but wholely ignorant of that fact, their entire life and belief system is built about Christianity and the tenets of Christian faith, but without any of the disciplinary aspects of the faith, so you end up with the fanaticism of a Christian fundie without actually adhering to the actual core tenets of the faith.
That last part is common among most western Christians, but at least the older generations weren't also weirdly puritan and autistic about art, so their hypocrisy was a lot more tolerable and permissable for non-Christians.

Based post, crying about what mossa has drawn is peak reddit behavior and you should gtfo this site if you actually care about it.

You didn't finish that part of your post. You left out the reason shadman got a cease and desisst
>>156145771
>who had to have a cease and desist sent to him because,

iirc, it was cause of roblox porn though.
>>
>>156146784
Its creepy/tasteless/vulgar but its not "harass this artist off of his platforms" bad. Thats the difference that everyone is mad about. In the before times, people would just ignore it because it wasn't hurting anything nor would it make anything better. Now you draw one naked child in a non sexual act or one comfort character getting hurt and then you're shouted off everything except baraag

who is simon?
>>
>>156146839
Oh yeah my bad, he got a cease and desist because he kept drawing porn of the little mexican girl from Logan and her agency found out.

Oh man I would have to chase down a bunch of old articles and threads but basically shad drew porn or suggestive images of 3 real little girls and posted them on main because he had beef with the father of one of them. It blew up and eventually he spiraled into heroin addiction and was locked up for a month because he pulled a knife or a railroad spike on a crackwhore.

A lot of terminally online zoomers these days genuinely have not actually suffered enough in their real lives, it's why they spend so much time on the internet clutching their pearls over drawings.
In a way I kind of look forward to the oncoming economic depression because a lot of people with that mindset are finally going to start seeing what a REAL struggle looks like.

This image is kinda boring imo since it's just a Warhammer Vampire in an odd bikini.
Compared to a lot of his work, it seems kinda lazy
>>
>>156145771
trick him into drawing something that will make people cancel his sorry ass
>>
>>156147373
Why do you not like mossa?
>>
>>156147386
im jealous and I hate when others artists become successful, and if they're gooks, that makes it even worse
>>
>>156147440
You should probably take his advice>>156142453
>>
>>156147440
