Even when it was new, it was pretty popular here, but you'd still see people in the threads, and other non transformer threads shitting on the IDW transformer comics. I kinda agree with them on some things. The trans shit was just starting to ramp up in real world politics, and suddenly we have a tranny writer and now "trans"-transformers that dont like their "gender". And then all the gay robot couples came off as very cringe.I overall loved the comics. Post-war cybertron was a very cool and different setting to see all the characters in for once. Transformers is always about muh autobot vs cons war for millions of years. But now we got to see them all trying to rebuild society and go back to a somewhat regular way of life. Starscream being a sneaky fuck and trying to be a leader still. Lots of Decepticonsgoing "Well now what are we supposed do?!" and getting jobs, and giving us the Scavengers side storys. Rodimus and Magnus going on a very Star Trek style adventure. It was all alot of FUN.
