It’s a perfectly serviceable action movie. Not amazing, but certainly not terrible, aside from some wonky CGI in the third act.
DC fans have a weird hateboner for Dwayne Johnson. Just the other day someone dug up an old interview where the reporter asks which Joker was more likely to interact with Black Adam – Joaquin Phoenix, Jared Leto or Barry Keoghan – and he says Keoghan because they are friends IRL. They were circlejerking over “lol he thinks he controls the Reevesverse, what a loser!”.
They kept pushing the poor brown people as the true heroes of the movie. The part where they lock Dwaynebo up all for nothing was retarded.

Rock Fatigue was already settled in by this point, both Dwayne and the studio thought they could revive the Snyderverse the exact same way Rock “saved” Fast Five and thus that whole franchise, which has basically been capeshit since then. Ballers might actually be a worse show than Entourage, I’m only 60% sure.

Serviceable just isn't good enough in today's landscape. If it's not good/bad enough for you to dedicate your life to loving/hating it then the Youtubers will tell you it isn't worth the time you could have spent watching their slop content instead.
