I kind of saw it as Brother Eye given a body and starting a wank for wank competition that peaked in Batman somehow surviving a fall from orbit if I remember correctly.Characters like Oracle getting caught and enslaved between issues, felt rushed to get to these set-pieces which made them even more ludicrous.Wasn't to my taste beyond spectacle, I prefer my Batman far more grounded. Or at least not falling from orbit.
