Singular Point actually referenced Godzilla: The Animated Series and The Hannah Barbera one which is fucking crazy to me. Sure the movie gets references with Zilla but this is the only time I remember seeing the animated one anywhere.

It kills me this show is such hot garbage for any of the "Modern day" segments, holy fuck are they obnoxious.

Which is doubly worse because Minus 1 and Minus Zero have such amazing characters I could easily watch for the 4 hours plus for the grand total of 15 minutes of Godzilla screentime. Goddamn right I'd watch those four fuckers on a boat shooting landmines and talking about the heaviness of war for an entire episode, sign me the fuck up. Instead they had all this budget and some of the worst human characters in any godzilla medium. Godzilla medium, to clarify, they're not Skull Island(The animated Kong show) level bad.

Oh and Minus Zero is the best shit go watch it holy FUCK Ghidorah rules.

Absolutely, and actually makes it better in a lot of areas by lets just say "Expanding" on a certain controversial choice for the ending of M1. Noriko surviving is a major plotpoint and is tied into Koichi's Kamikaze guilt.

Absolutely possible, this kind of felt less "Complete" than Minus One honestly, the ending leaves 3 things hanging with plenty of room for an entire storyline of a third movie should they go that route. In that way it's slightly weaker than Minus One that felt so much like the journey was over, but on the flip side the final Operation is a lot more tense and uncertain than minus one's. So, give and take.
