Finn and Huntress are both very important and well liked characters and fans will naturally want to see more of them together so I don’t think the writers would just ignore them entirely.I don’t think they’ll play too major a role but I can see them in as supporting characters. Maybe they’ll have their own B-plot like Marceline and Bubblegum had in season 2 of F&C.

If it takes place entirely in Ooo then that becomes a harder question to answer and it’s likely in that context we’ll only see Finn and HW at the beginning and end unless the plot absolutely calls for their involvement.
