We continue our new section about sharing fun facts of the people who work on the X-Books, this time focusing on Chris Yost.And now for Uncanny X-Men.
Previously in Uncanny X-Men, Rogue and Gambit finally returned to New Orleans after succeeding in their quest to remove the Eye of Power’s curse on Gambit and decided to stay in a hotel to recover. But the rest of the X-Men get the news that Sarah Gaunt has escaped Graymalkin and is going to get her revenge on Rogue, which leads to the team going to the hotel to protect her and Gambit. While Logan faced Sarah alone, the rest of the team were attacked by the Scavenged – four mutants that had been subjected to Weapon X-Finity’s experiments that Sarah had now claimed as her “children”. But before their fight could continue, Rogue broke it up and threatened to kill Sarah by absorbing her lifeforce. Sarah decided to retreat with the Scavenged, promising that in one week she’d be back…
Really awkward that these guys can’t actually retract their claws. But hey, at least they’re no longer wearing rags and having those headpieces on.In case you forgot the names of each of them, don’t worry. We’ll get a proper introduction to them later in this issue.

It’s the beginning of a new arc! Previously, Logan went through a very lengthy saga where he started a fling with Silver Sable, protected the New Morlocks in Canada against Dept H., learned about his role as the Savage Champion of this reality, teamed up with other Savage Champions to defeat the Adamantine, dealt with his healing factor being stolen and only having one adamantium claw, before getting all of it back again. And he's also back in the Avengers again!

Considering everyone seems to be a freak I'm guessing the failed Virus triggered instant secondary mutations as well which dropped the survival rate into the gutter. Shame that we aren't getting a few hundred new mutants to justify reopening the school and help them get used to their powers.

She just happened to luck into the powerset that perfectly complements her slayer role/persona, and even when these baby wolverines are out to kill her she's still offering to let them live if they say the magic words.
