It would have been the perfect backstory for religious dudes that want to be good like SS or bots like Tyrest. Tyrest was close being that guy but I didn't like that they had to make him insane. JRo's original idea about the killswitch was way more in line with that thought and IMO 10 times cooler as being based on the Morality Engine that basically kills those who disregard morals (so half of the cast). There is 0 chance that any sort of serious moral dilemma like that would ever happen in any of the retarded cartoons we get. I guess IDW's Prowl was almost there too. The main reason for why I liked him.

>>156194722Same here. It's so rare to find a decent mix like that. It's either non-stop action with 0 character scenes besides MC maybe or SoL-only with most series and both is boring. The best stories are often the ones that manage to merge action with SoL, comedy, tragedy and its respective world building without making the pacing uneven.

I am actually part of the problem myself because the only TF stuff I consumed before reading these comics was G1 and the only thing I remembered about it were the Megatron and Starscream shenanigans so the blah blah was what helped me understand the who is who.Generally think that smaller casts are better though, the Wreckers comic was perfect in that regard.
