>>11532200Well, I played Shifting Domains relatively recently. It's only at the first version so far but I like how what's there has been done, if it keeps up the pace it'll end up one of my favorites. I feel like it already has the best visual presentation of the modern gts rpg games thus far. Since it's one of the rpg ones, it has a combat system, and said system is...the default basic one you'd expect, so on one hand nothing standout about that part, on the other hand that also means that it's perfectly passable so probably no need to worry about getting filtered by the gameplay.Also while we're on the gts game topic and this is probably the best chance I'll have to bring this up, I've finally been able to try out the HP studios 2 first demo and it's okay thus far I guess. It's an rpg, so surprise surprise the App rpg's combat and leveling systems are back with a vengeance. It does seem some lessons are being learned from that game at least, considering the mid-encounter weapon swap command does seem to be a direct QOL addition to fix the thing where if you go into a battle with the wrong thing between weapon or tool equipped you had to just wing it with a disadvantage. Hopefully the game will a bit more generous with the gold than they were in that game, considering it was pretty easy to fall behind the leveling curve from that alone in the app chap1 remake, especially considering you also had to spend a bit of money during a quest as well. I do like the character interactions thus far at least, but still not much standout yet imo and there's not a whole lot yet either. Not too disappointed yet that there's not much there yet considering it's also a first release. If you liked the first game's visual presentation, you'll like this one's as well.
