Doing an editing pass on all the texts now. The oldest ones (that i haven't rewritten along the way) need a lot of work, the newest ones are pretty much fine as is. Plus I need to verify and potentially balance all the game engine data keys attached to every character. One editing pass, then this will all be considered Locked In, and we move on.

It's closest to CoC & Flexible Survival with the open world cheats enabled, but will still be pretty different. All content is available from the start. Designed for short game runs and long term replayability, instead of a long chain of linear gated content.

Played a game a while ago and I've forgotten what it was called and can't find it on my PC. It was japanese (ofc) and very futa focused, the MC was a futa with a gun and sword and it was kind of a side scroller where you fought various types of futa, initially people, then different humanoids, and there were boss stages against giants. I got owned by underestimating the writing workload lol. It was going that speed at first but in retrospect the prose quality was shit. I improved prompt technique and halved output speed twice along the way, and quality is good now

Anybody else played 'Post Nut Calamity'? It's a class based, arcade-style maze game, where you run through two floors of procedurally generated dungeon. It's got a first person, and nice diorama sex sprites, in addition to the game over sex scenes, which make the game feel more immersive. It's anthro/monstergirl focused, so be warned.

You think a more Real Time system like Door Kickers or a turn based system is preferable for this ?
also how important are Map/Sprite Graphics? i know games like Lust Doll work well with an absolutely minimalist approach but that's more of an exception it seems.

I feel that you need to allow time for the player to enjoy the results of their efforts. If the porn is going to be mid-battle, then you'll need an easy pause button (like, say, "FTL: Faster Than Light"), or go turn-based (whether a turn is "one action" or "five seconds" is up to you). If the porn is going to be (mostly) post-battle, then a pure real-time game might be more fun.

Ultimately, it's up to you to program it. If you'd like your game to be real-time, make it real-time.

I feel like it'd be cool if the bodysuits functioned like megaman upgrades, where the suit turns you into a type of monstergirl. Each sex scene could be locked to a specific power-up, meaning there's less variables when coding them in. You could even you this as a method for alternative routes in the game, incentivizing players to go for different bodysuits on separate playthroughs. Also, since you mentioned corruption and monstergirls, is this game leaned towards the corrupted girls dominating men, or is it more of a moral degeneration story?

the kinky/porny elements are supposed to be part of game play, stuff like status effects (restrains/ stuns) and if a character gets certain corruptions they can permanently alter the characters appearance and even change "class"

The suits working like that is actually an interesting idea gonna look into that.
So far the idea is that the corruption gradually changes the girls into a monster with a sanity mechanic if sanity runs out you lose control and then fully turn. Before that you still have control but they can spontaneously give in to new urges and instincts and "misbehave"
there will be some hoops you have to get through to use monster "classes" at their fullest.
Also yes its gonna be more moral degeneration. Not many males are planned currently.

in general don't expect too much outright sex.

Will there be stealth? The screenshots give me the impression of a stealth game. You could have lewd stelth takedowns, that become more femdom-y, the more monstrous the girl/guy becomes. Let's hope the sanity mechanic doesn't end up to buggy, or exploitable.

Oh! And as far as ideas for classes go:
Slime - reduces movement and incoming damage.
Balrog: restrain enemies from range with a fiery whip, and inflicts burn on melee.
Spectre: can phase through walls, but loses the ability to carry non-magical items.
Wendigo: can shapeshift into objects and enemies to hide, but loses sanity much faster.
Vampire: can become completely invisible while in shadow and regenerate after blood consumption, but melts away health when exposed to any form of uv light.
Gargoyle: weeping angel type class, that allows you to become invincible and avoid aggro when seen, in exchange for not being able to move.
Yuki-Onna/Yama-Oba: self-explanatory; an aoe freezing class, with practically no health, and skilled at blowjobs (jynx reference).
Orc: study pig woman class, high immunity to almost all status effects, and good damage output, but submissive to the point of being easily raped.
Ogre: high damage dealer, with a larger inventory capacity than other classes, but has barely any sanity or humanity at all.
Djinn or genie: relies on magic (debuffs, buffs, healing, etc...), and lacks the ability to refuse certain commands from men, even if it lowers sanity.
Alraune or Mandragora: constant healing when in sunlight, and sanity loss when spending to much time in darkness; maybe add some mechanic involving plant minions produced through having sex.
Ophanim: stuns up-close enemies by frightening them, negates most resistance or defense with holy magic, but becomes losses sanity immediately upon having sex; you could probably have this class convert enemies to followers, and create Nephilim to fight for them.
Finally, Succubus: all-rounded, medium health, but has to retain sanity by having sex constantly.

Look at any "idea guy" shit anywhere and it's always the same garbage. Vague high level concepts without a single thought given to actual technical implementation details nor feasibility, no design coherence, no consideration for the framework of game mechanics in which they would exist.

I wouldn't say Lust Doll's approach works well. It is very disappointing.

With its extreme level of abstraction on the tilesets, the devs don't have to worry about drawing/buying/looking for/editing tilesets nor give undue attention to visual design when creating maps. Such a game design choice should allow creating a lot of content focused on the important bits. You would expect the world to be huge and the maps be focused on gameplay rather than visuals, but no. The game world is only about 500 map files and it feels small as well. Even the world map is just a menu with a handful of items. Gameplay-wise the maps are used in a fairly standard way. There are some good uses of RPGmaker map looping but nothing spectacular. Map geometries and connections are uninspired. Interactive content within them minimal. Combat is mainly random encounter slop. On top of all that, development is still just as slow as in games with much more detailed maps.

Lust Doll's approach COULD work well. But Lust Doll doesn't.
