I wish there was more futa farming gamesthere are farming gamesthere are futa games but the only futa farming games I found are futa rancher and Breeders Of The Nephelym
>>11544209There's a 20 page beginner guide for Ero Dungeons in the Discord, here's a link https://mega.nz/file/KQp2QYoD#A-hBYYm-fEBuXSzqThWwGg5-EgEjGry0HvX5afhE9NwThough it's more fun to use trial and error to figure stuff out.
Any new BE games come out recently?
>>11545390Didn't the breeders game get abandoned some time back?
What happened to the cloud meadow or whatever the latest cashgrab was called? It had top monsterfucker art, I really miss it.
>>11545725last update was a year ago but the update before also had a year gap so I don't think so
big text game progress:Coding part 1: doneCoding part 2: doneLewd Texts: doneLewd Text editing: in progressQuests: 0%Images: 0%Coding part 3: 0%Final polish: 0%Editing pass continues. It’s annoying having to keep working on texts, but also a lot of fun to constantly find something average/poor and make it high quality. By the time I get back to coding we’ll have upgraded from GPT 5.2 to GPT6 lmaoIt's closest to CoC & Flexible Survival with the open world cheats enabled, but will still be pretty different. All content is available from the start. Designed for short game runs and long term replayability, instead of a long chain of linear gated content.
>>11545742Still being updated, but going by F95 reviews the dev hasn't been adding much and the existing content is really shallow
>>11546151Sounds about right
>>11545919Hey, let me know if you any help with the writing. I'm not good at writing people, but I'd be happy to send you a text document full of flavor text for the sex scenes. Just list the scenes you plan to code into the game, and I'll post some good shit for you.
>>11546204Thanks but that parts done already, and I’d rather keep it a one man project
Also there’s no sex scenes. Theyre barely a turn on for me so I always read them once and then click spam through them the next times. I’m putting all the word count into content with replayability
Damn. I think I've played all of the games i like
>>11546287Time to start coding !
>>11546327cute!
>>11546327Seems like too much of a barrier to entry. For example, some of my favorite games have good enough art to work with. I think I could be okay with the game design part of things, but that's just me being an idea guy to myself.
>>11546327(NTA)Funny enough, I like coding, but never got to the point where I could make games. I just use code to solve problems now.
I loved Corruption of Champions but hate CoC II. Any good games that hit the same notes as CoC?
>>11546353>Any gamesTiTS, Fall of Eden, Nimin Fetish Fantasy, Lillith's Throne>Goodno
>>11546353Flexible Survival, offline mode not the MUD
>>11546327me on the right
>>11546351>>11546341Easy way to learn coding:- Build the simplest, most basic 'hello world' application you can. In web development for example, this should be a folder with one HTML, CSS, and JS file. No frameworks, build tools, nodeJS, or anything like that yet- Every day, add one new thing to it. Don't worry about reading books or tutorials first, just use Google or ask ai. Learning to research new things on demand is just as important as learning to code. In real work situations you'll usually be given a preexisting project built with a bunch of tools you have no experience in, and you need to be able to work with it- After a couple months you should have something cool or useful to show off- Add it to your resume/portfolio (ofc not if it's a porn game) and then repeat the process
Someone looked into the code of MonCurse and found it's all sorts of spaghetti in there.I hope that doesn't mess with updates in the future.
>>11546375Well it's unlikely for one guy to be that competent of an artist, and a game designer, and a programmer all at once so I can't say I'm surprised, something has to get the short end of the stick. Game's still more than good enough as is.
>>11546377Oh, one hundred percent, but (allegedly) it would make updates progressively more difficult to stack on top of it.Hopefully he was just doomposting, but I understand enough about coding to know that you need to start with a good base to build on.
>>11546379It would. Bad code takes longer to work on, it isnt fun, and easier for random shit to break
>>11546372this is misdirectionyou learn skills by having a problem you almost know how to solve and the desire to solve it, *together*. you dont commit anything to memory by doing rote exercises except the exact execution of that exercise in that context.if you want to make a game, you first sit down and think about what specifically you want it to achieve, then you isolate those goals to discrete, quantitative measurements of progress, then element at a time you work on them making sure to always move towards some tangible result.i want to make a futa breeding game > im not an artist so ill start with text based > ill use a documented engine thats already close to the style i want > ill write down what the gameplay loop is expected to be > i need to think about the breeding mechanics > the player needs a way to interface with the system > ill make a small test scenario and then add new mechanics to ityou dont build a cathedral by stacking bricks, each one has purpose and a vision.
>>11546372>In real work situations you'llbe passed over during hiring for more jeet H1bs instead
>>11546532This is a good process but it’s the kind of thinking for when you’re already experienced. I’m talking about how to start from zero
>>11546553you start from zero with an idea and the persistence to see it through, which forces you to overcome the problems you encounter. the process itself doesnt change with experience.
>>11546554You gotta build a few mini apps before you’re ready for a real game. If someone with no experience says “I’m going build a CoC and plan it out like this…”, they won’t even have the knowledge to plan it properly. Or it’ll end up spaghetti code, like using a php server for state because you don’t know JavaScript variables exist (t. me in high school trying to make a giant game with no experience)
>>11546555For some examples Chess and Solitaire are two good ones to start with as you probably know exactly how they should function and hence will know exactly what you need to implement
>>11546555starting out with spaghetti code thats awful and shit and causes you problems begets the solving of those problems, because again, you almost know how to solve them already. it doesnt matter how bad it is, if you can compare the last result to the current one and see measurable progress then youre learning something.
>>11546377>>11546379The issue is imo partially that the dev isn't a programmer, and partially that early versions of godot are riddled with objectively terrible sample code. This combined with gdscript being a wrapper for C++ code gives you undefined behavior and memory unsafe code in a garbage collected scripting language. All the pitfalls of python with all the pitfalls of C++, used by someone who knows neither, essentially a cargo cult programmer teaching himself from examples written by a different set of cargo cult programmers.Even AI code would probably be an improvement at that point.
All that shitty lore literally nobody cares about and unnecessary bloat in DoL yet I can't even grab a titty or make people suck me off during sex
I wish akabur would wake up from his slumber and release a game.
Where's the anon who wanted co-op porn games? An AI-art 0.0.1 fantasy farm simulator that promises it just hit F95.
>>11547750Promises it, when?
>>11547750oooooh buddy that vibe-coded netcode is gonna hit so good
>>11547797>>11547888I'm not really optimistic. I mean, look at these tags. According to the dev(s) all of this is already there in 0.0.1
>>11547948Is 'catwomen' the patreon censored term for catgirl? Do they seriously have to be careful to avoid the word 'girl' on their page to avoid being banned?
>>11548012Look at "horse woman/boy/futa" for comparison. They probably intend to have all the variations of each "species" but only "woman" is available at the moment. Though it does seem odd they put in "boy" but used woman and not girl.
>>11547948Dudes just throwing out terms like an indie dev name dropping genre's to try and appeal to anything.
>>11548048Tons of fetishes and tags included! (in future updates, please give me money ;_;)
>>11548012Incest is probably way more needed to be avoided than girl.
I've been playing this and read in the F95 thread that the dev was from /dgg/, he still around these parts?
>>11548288hopefully not, like most devs that successfully release a product
