NovelAI's models can be pushed pretty far for anything but it loses coherence as it goes. However, NovelAI leaves realistic data out of its training and can't use all the public free LORAs and such, so it's not always better. It's $25 a month for unlimited gens and I think it's definitely been worth it for me. It's basically 1/3rd or 1/4th of a video game and I have more fun with it than any new game coming out.If you're interested I'd definitely try free options first, either a local setup or something like perchance.org or frosting.ai where you can just go to the site and gen for free (but the quality is lower). Then you can decide whether getting better quality stuff from NovelAI is worth it for you.
