Still text editing. Did a ton of coding work during the Ox Alpha free weekend. I feel like I should post fewer updates here, but being a vaporware dev is worse so we’re doing it until the end.

It's closest to CoC & Flexible Survival with the open world cheats enabled, but will still be pretty different. All content is available from the start. Designed for short game runs and long term replayability, instead of a long chain of linear gated content.

DoL but it's a fantasy setting and you're a wizard's apprentice. Your master is charging exorbitant fees for his teaching, but many fields of magic are monetizable, either through selling people magical solutions for their problems, or burning out the ghouls at a nearby haunted crypt and taking their funerary gems. You have to decide which studies you prioritize.
You can eventually complete your apprenticeship and become a fully licensed mage, though in the meantime you'll have access to your master's library and tools. Having to buy your own crystal orbs and grimoires will get even more expensive, but there won't be as much of a time pressure.

The lesson, for any aspiring dev, should be that you need to END your game at some point. You're gonna learn new things in the process of making a game, of course. But the worst thing you can do is look back at the game you're actively making and decide to fix things instead of finishing them. Stop your plot and make a clean break part 2 if you have to, but don't remake things that you haven't completed.

It's the same advice given to writers: finish writing your book before you edit it.

I think it'd be neat to take the engine from Lilith's Throne and then make something like Unholy Arts using it.
Restricting the actual environment to a single house/training ground with 5 or 6 procedurally-generated rivals that you can butt heads with and gradually transform/condition.
I'd made a lot of personal edits to Lilith's Throne over time, just for my own use, like having characters gradually develop fetishes from performing/orgasming during those acts or adding more combat interactions, like being able to grab/strip enemy clothes during combat. I feel like trying to execute something like the idea wouldn't be THAT hard, but at the same time if I'm spending time doing gamedev stuff I'd rather put it towards and original project instead of some hacky repurposing of a different one.

Most trainer games have little to no /d/ content.
Teaching Feelings, Strive For Power and Jack-o-Nine-Tails used to be quite popular here. No Haven used to be on RAGS and it's getting reworked on Twine, not sure how it's doing.

Trainers aren't really my cup so I don't play them often, for more recent games I think Hero Party Must Fall, Naked Ambition, Honey Kingdom (traps). Maybe Thirteen Goddess but it's too early to tell.

I don't really like parody trainers but I can understand the appeal of games like Slutcraft, Akabur, Four Elements Trainer, etc.

I don't think lack of a definite end is the problem so much as arguably overambitious scope. It's the Lord of the Rings of wegs.

Also the decision to start in the imperial capital was probably a mistake because it makes every other area less interesting. Probably in 40 years she'll have enough fully fleshed out side areas for an alternate start mod.
