It's hard to pick, but I like the 2nd one if it's an advantage gained by someone who's already extremely privileged and/or powerful. Like a bratty tyrannical prince type who gets to move from just having unreachable social status and power over others to actually being a God, to the point where even a theoretical mass revolution could quite literally be crushed by a single footstep.

I prefer using a growth ray on a random cute innocent boy, making him dozens of miles tall and inflicting a height disadvantage on the entire normal sized population, being dwarfed by mere toes of the boy and having to live like germs around him.

I don't mind natural size different, but I definitely prefer to go with getting control the size of others or myself, I think that it being extremely unfair that I'm the only one who gets to control it and the world ends up subject to whatever irresponsible mood I'm in is super hot

My favorite is a mix of both where an immature bratty boy is already abusing all the natural born tinies and while other normals around him find his tiny torture a bit concerning they don't care enough about them to stop the boy. But then the bratty boy gets to grow really huge and suddenly everyone who knew him are scared because they know exactly what he's like with beings that are smaller than him.

I prefer it when a bratty boy gets shrunk and tormented while tiny, but the punishment is probably overboard for what they actually did, but the people around them have no sympathy for their fate
