I'm an indie game developer. I'm working on finishing up my first publishable project in a few months or two (nothing fancy or /size/ related), and I'm tossing around the idea of using a lot of my resources and code to try to make a /size/ game. Not wholly an asset flip, but I'd be reusing things where reasonable to do so. I'm not sold on this path, since I don't know about the financial viability of it - maybe I'd try for a patreon or something? But that's not the reason I'm making this post.I want to ask the sorts of features or mechanics that the anons of this thread think would be fun. But limited to things that fit the resources I've already built. I have a highly modular custom player model with all the basic platforming animations (run, jump, punch, stomp, etc.). And while it supports things like breasts the size of beachballs and real-time adjustment to them, it's a bit toonish as realistic 3D art is not my forte. So anything about admiring giant sexy lady as the main gimmick wouldn't work. But something like growing and stomping on buildings could be implemented well enough and maybe be fun (I have a procedural-generated cityscape I coded up a while back, but I wouldn't necessarily need to use it for this hypothetical project. It has each building as a single rectangular prism with normal maps to give depth without adding polygons or rendering complexity. My code for the player character can support resizing from 20% to 5000% of the default scale, so I have decent leeway in size (and more drastic sizes can always be achieved with coding hacks, like shrinking the world environment or loading a new scene). I build nearly every piece of my projects myself - from models to animation to textures to music to code. I'm a jack of all trades, so nothing I do in any given field here is spectacular, but I am very well experienced in code. So I'm not limited by much beyond computational complexity and development time.TL;DR in next post.
