How dangerous is lead, if it's unlikely anybody will get cut and bleed while dealing with it?I'm interested in buying a sheet of it for making figurines I might sell, but I don't want to use it if I run the hazard of customers getting ill from it (or getting ill and blaming it on lead).
>>2994158Lead is toxic (saturnism). Don't use it unless there are no alternatives.
>>2994158not if you like just touch it but i assume youre going to be cutting it by some method in which.... yes very much so
>>2994158>for figuresNo this is retarded
>>2994158> sellBruh just use a normal material and not the brain destroying sweetness. Aluminium and plaster are cheap.
>>2994167Aluminum sheets don't fold like lead does, but if it's that dangerous, I won't buy it.
there is no such thing as a safe level of lead exposureany amount will negatively effect your mental state to some degreeit is possible to work with lead safely, but if you aren't washing your hands after handling it you will absolutely have some amount of exposure
>>2994158Don't buy it if you don't absolutely need it.I deal with lead all the time at work for radiation shielding and it has a biological half life in the brain of 2-3 years, so you can absolutely notice the cognitive effects from bioaccumulation. Also if you drop it and the edge hits you, you will get cut and bleed, happened to me last week.
