Whatever happened to modular, prefab homes? I live in Connecticut, USA and they're still building shitty McMansions everywhere and gutting/renovating shitty 1950's ranch homes for more than this would cost.

All the classrooms at my school used to be prefab. I think they stopped since they started roasting all the kids in summer time.
