Anyone have a padlock or something they like for these things?
>>
>>2995681

What's the matter? Painters stealing all your tools again? Cry about it, loser.
>>
>>2995681
You want to use a padlock on a plastic tub? Those tubs can be cut apart with a decent pair of scissors. What is a padlock going to protect? Shit, you could just grab the padlock and rip it right though the plastic if you wanted to.

Long ones?

To actually lock up you need a jobox or one of its ripoffs. Those plastic totes tear themselves apart even if they just have heavy stuff inside.

whofuck needs a gallon of WD-40?
>>
>>2995726
You when attempting to go through the front door.

I'm displacing my water through the door?
>>
>>2995732
Contrary to popular myth, WD-40 is in fact a lubricant

Yeah, just be so cheap and stingy that you crack open all the dead soldiers and drain their life juices after the propellant is gone
>>
>>2995681
yoink the whole tub.
>>
>>2995681
costco!
>>
>>2995734
So is water.
>>
>>2995681
Literally just tie some line down to secure the lid. A lock isn't going to secure it at all.
>>
>>2995735
Just refill with air and finish using them up.
>>
just drill some holes on one end and close it with some heavy duty zip ties. drill a hole on the other end and put your lock on it. that's about all the security you can ask for on a container that breaks open on its own if you look at it the wrong way.
>>
>>2995681
i put quality zip ties into the 6 holes.
btw i fly with these as my checked baggage. best luggage around.
under $9, doesnt weight anything, stacks easily, holds a shitton.
i use zip ties to close them and with over 15 2-way flights, I only had 2 lids break.
i use duct tape on the underside to help it from falling apart.
ive also had them searched twice so far. i leave extra zip ties under the lid for the TSA to reseal them.

He's trying to protect things from very lazy criminals
>>
>>2995681
Don't use a plastic tub for things you want to keep safe.
>>
>>2996130
This, desu. Putting a lock on it just announces there is something in there you think is worth stealing. Then they'll just take the whole tote.
>>
>>2995879
>i fly with these as my checked baggage. best luggage around.

That's fucking retarded you lug a huge box around in the airport??
>>
>>2996279
If there were smaller more convenient things I could store stuff in, maybe with wheels and an extendable handle, then maybe id use the. But there isn't so ill just keep using giant Tupperware.
>>
>>2995693
>lock the scissors in the tub
Now what smart ass?
>>
>>2995726
Me.
>>
>>2996459
Who only has one pair of scissors? The old saying goes; 2 is 1 and 1 is none.
>>
>>2996468
2 is 1. 1 is in the box.
>>
>>2995681
>padlock
>on 2mm thick plastic
What's the point?
>>
>>2996459
Heh

I lost my 4chan shop for me request form. Are there any bins that are made of sturdy polyethylene and not bullshit brittlium?
>>
>>2995726
WD-40 has like a 100 uses
>>
>>2995726
Me for my giant dick in your mum
>>
>>2995726
Some people actually fucking do shit here instead of sitting on their ass all day on 4chan
>>
>>2995726
my job has 55 gallon drums of the stuff because we use it for cleaning
>>
>>2998958
wd-40 is shit. It shit at rust prevention. It's shit as a lubricant. It's designed for water displacement and that is its one actual intended use that it actually does properly
>>
>>2999756
Multiple youtubers have done oil changes with straight WD-40 and driven their shitboxes several hundred miles.

It can't be too shit as a lubricant
