I need a threaded handle for a project. Pic related would probably work fine but I would prefer a fatter grip. Are there any comparably priced "commodity" parts that I should be searching for? Something like a bicycle handle grip would be great... but they're not threaded. The thread diameter isn't critical, anything over 8mm (inch or metric) would be fine. Thread depth needs to be at least 15mm (or 5/8" depth.)

Older bicycle handles are 1” inner, if you can find some thick walled 1” OD tube/pipe and the right washer you could just put a bolt through. Or buy a 25mm ptfe bushing (pretty common with M8 hole) and put some tape around it
