I live ludicrously far from all laundromats, they charge a pretty fucking penny for a wash and a full dry, and I have no vehicle, no friends willing to drive me to a mat, no family in my town, and churning clothes like butter in hot bathwater with the head of those detachable mop handles for 4 hours is starting to lose its luster. The drying I can take. Is there a faster or better alternative, especially a ghetto, simple one, when I live a poor life, mostly due to living costs?Don't say move. This is literally the best gig a fella like me can get. Not because of any record but because it's all bills paid and they didn't ask for a lease agreement.

You could probably find a used washing machine for a few bucks. You'll need at least one friend to help you move it though.
>>2996879Or die doing it myself
>>2996871You can get a portable sink clothes washer like >>2996877is recommending, or buy a washboard.
>>2996879Not OP, but good washing machines are hard to find. Everything is that new high efficiency shit that doesn't work right.
Tub and washboard, otherwise if you have the room for a washer browse CL or marketplace or whatever the local equivalent is for someone replacing ol' reliable for something new just because it's "smart." Then get a U-haul and a friend to pick it up. I wouldn't grab trash washers, you have no idea why they're there. Could be a clogged filter, could be a blown transmission.
>>2996871have you considered disposable institutional clothing?
>>2996871>churning clothes like butter in hot bathwater with the head of those detachable mop handles for 4 hoursUse your feet, dumbass.

You can get a mini washing machine on Temu for pretty cheap
>>2996871I installed a full sized washing machine in my kitchen when I had an apartment, cut into the plumbing for water and draining. Was it allowed? No, but when I wasn't using it I covered it with a sheet and a piece of counter top that also covered the knobs. It wasn't noticable unless you really looked for it
>>2997548i had one, full size or maybe a touch smaller idk, just hooked onto the kitchen sink and wheeled into a corner when i wasnt ising ita top loader but it worked more like a front loader, i think it was lg, it was dope lasted the whole time i lived there at least 12 years, i gave it away to another tenant when i leftmaybe look for something used? i just replaced my 1900s set with speedqueens and gave the old ones away
>>2997548People like you are why I feel no guilt for making up BS charges to keep the entire security deposit every single time. I'd probably hire people to track you down and beat your ass if you did that shit to one of my properties, rentie fuck.
>>2996871>for 4 hoursdafuqget a damn washing board, churning is for motors our ancestors didn't fucking churn the clothes
>>2997901you're not a landlord you fucking lying POS. no rentoid ever left a property in a state where you'd need to lie to keep the security deposit.
>>2997903All you really have to do is move the water. You don't have to move the clothes. They actually sell little motors that do this in buckets for pretty cheap. I see no reason an anon couldn't just a little water pump.I wash in the tub. Biggest pain in the ass is the rinsing and ringing, IMO.
>>2997901Cry about it
>>2996871Get less absorbant clothes. Sportswear is easily washed and dried.Wash individual items in the sink with a little handsoap or shampoo. You probably have limited space to dry everything at once anyway. Actually wringing things out is more effective than just soaking and limply moving them around.
>>2997901Security deposits aren't legal here.
