I have this wall that needs a stem wall and footing under it. Any ideas on how to best support the joists and rim board while I dig and pour the cement?
I will be cutting about 12-18" of concrete out to get the footing and stem wall poured so of I build a temp wall I am worried the rim joist will get fucked up or collapse as the floor joists appear to simply be end nailed to it and the temp wall will create a cantilever.
google how to underpin...

>>2999874It's an interior wall and I want the stem wall to be about 3" proud of the concrete. I'm not sure under pinning applies here.
