Solar powered charger + battery.

I'm tempted to get a battery and solar charger as a gift, budget around 400-600. It's going to be useful for the whole big family(s).

But chinkshit have flooded the market, I'm looking mostly at ecoflow for safety. 600w, solar panels that can charge it fully during the daytime. Do you guys have any recommendations?

I'm in Sweden, so I don't have access to most brands I guess.

I think I found what I needed, thirdparty "200w" panel around 180usd, 3m xt60 extension cable, ecoflow river 3 plus. All around 600usd.

Is portability for the solar panel important? Because if not, a 200W solar panel would normally cost about $50 at most, probably free on the used market. Ecoflow are ok, you can check Will Prowse for reviews of some other brands.

Their 400w portable solar panels have really gone up in price. Is the price increase relate the chinese trade war, or increased silver prices? What brands have the standard connectors and are reliable in the 400w range for portable pannels?

Their portable panels are expensive because of retard tax/brand name, not because of any trade or material or tax reasons. Just buy the cheapest portable panels that have decent reviews, even if it were to come with the wrong connector, it's a 5 minute job to resolder the correct one (which is usually an xt60). Check the voltage rating on the panel, voltage must be at most the maximum that the device supports, current doesn't matter too much.
