Get ready for the influx of poorfags buying ender 3s from thrift stores

I bet you feel old now
>>
>>3000133
Oh cool, maybe I'll get one
>>
>>3000133
Enders were at thrift stores and garage sales years ago, there isnt going to be some new influx
>>
>>3000133
Fifty bucks is too much for that. Maybe $20 to part it out.
>>
>>3000133
Why the hate?
That thing can make small good pla prints and it will last years and years with little easy maintenance. 50 dollars is a good price.
>>
>>3000297
No way, I was getting the pro version (better psu, silent drivers , few other minor upgrades) for $100 plus a free roll of inland PLA over 7 years ago
>>
>>3000297
Depends on who's buying the printer; I'd never recommend used anything for a first printer, let alone an Ender 3. $50 for a backup printer, or a platform for a laser engraver? that i could see.
>>
>>3000133
I'm more concerned about the missing fire extinguisher in the background
>>
>>3000455
It's fine, just never use the heated bed.
>>
>>3000455
There is no way to know it is missing. The sign is on all four sides, but the extinguisher could be out of view of the photo.
>>
>>3000133
They probably hot donated for being absolutely shit. I wouldn't take one of those time vampires for free.
>>
>>3000133
mine works well after several upgrades and a lot of tuning but I've had it for years and the new stuff is 1000 times easier to get good prints out of.
>>

3DTouch
PEI sheet
Double sprocket extruder upgrade

You don't need more to make the original ender 3 usable
I slice with cura's default preset, press start print and it just werks everytime
>>
>>3000133
I would buy desu, mine works well, I don't know where the hate comes from.
>>
>>3000528
I stole it.
>>
>>3000133
> 3d printing is now affordable
still not interested
>>
>>3000289
Sold my old broken one (I told the buyer it was broken) for $60 about two-three months back. Retards are willing to pay a lot for junk.
>>
>>3000133
It's a great platform, anon. Kind of a crappy printer, but a great platform.
>>
>>3000133
me omw to buy a 3d printer at a thrift store: gee i just don't already have enough plastic tat and useless garbage in my house, maybe with this i can add some more and turn into a woman at the same time from all the estrogen fumes and then post on reddit about it.
its hot plastic melted together poorly. nothing useful was ever made on a 3d printer and if it was it wouldn't last a week. grow up.
>>
>>3005978
3d printing was originally called rapid prototyping for a reason. Anyway, obviously not consoomer tier plastishit, but you couldn't do picrel any other way.
>>
>>3000297
My theory is that OP is a combination of two kinds of faggots:
The fags that go to a cheap shop and try out lowball everything because seeing a digit go down gives them an orgasm
&
The fags that are extremely poor/cheap and can't afford anything they want so they overcompensate by saying they hate it out loud.

>doesnt recognize the tripfag op
lurk moar
>bragging about wasting extra money on mantoys
this is a cheapfuck board dipshit
>>
>>3000133
Theres a bunch of cool conversion projects that start off of an ender3 like thr wire EDM rack robo made
So being able to pick one up for dirt cheap seems like a great deal even if its just for parts
>>
>>3000297
>little easy maintenance
fuck you and the countless hours i have spent bed tramming
>>
>>3000455
especially since that's a base ender so probably doesn't have the overheat protection they added later.

>3d touch
dont you need to muck with the firmware for that? also don't hook up the wrong motors to an ender 3, it kills the stepper drivers, and they are impossible / difficult to replace with SHIT TOOLS
