Essential Boomer
Wow, great thread, thanks!
>>3000989You buttery soft, marbled fatbody, he would ragdoll you
>>3001006I chuckled.
This guys a retard
>>3001111>grandpa who has built dozens of houses by hand>knows at a master level multiple trades, but isn't braggadocio about it, rather he is humble willing to learn modern ways>compliments and highlights young guys in trades doing impressive stuff like building a house with just 3 people and limited equipment>learning and highlighting alternative building methods like chinese or korean joinerySorry, how is he a retard?
I wonder what his stance on israel is.
>>3001191that guy was referring to himself.
i always wonder how you make a small cut on top of a board with a circ saw imagine one day feeling too lazy for a handsaw and the board is too big to move to a bandsaw or whatever and you try to balance the circ saw on the top edge of the board to make a cut and some cringe happens
>>3001191>implying grandpa is smartphone addicted dilettante who buys random junk which is sometimes over expensive or too cheap and half asses every job with a bitter irritated attitude because he's been away from his phone for too long grandpa posts update of his custom motorcycle project on facebook while his son suffers from toothache and potential lockjaw
>>3001535The cringe is that we're staring right at the bevel adjustment while he freehands a chamfer.
>>3001562in addition his arm and body position are dangerous.he will have no strength against a kick-back into his gutsI've done dangerous stuff but this looks just stupid, like pull plug and yell at apprentice stupid.
>>3001703Wormdrive is torque heavy, but it's not going to push his arm out of the way of his body if it binds. These people free cut all day long on roofs, so the saw itself his very unlikely to get away from them. The material, however, resting on the edge of a table as he cuts above his leg is notable. When making free cuts and other stupid time savers, it's important to cut away from your body. Mind the blade after the cut. If I must do something terribly stupid like a backward cut, I two hand the saw and feed material slowly so there's no chance the saw can roll back to me.
>>3000989Hard to tell from the pic what he’s doing exactly. My guess is he’s experienced enough to know what’s safe I.e if a cut might cause kickback. He does at times do unsafe things though, like pouring a bag of dry cement without a mask/filter, but few are 100% safe. Id like to think I’m pretty damn safe, but I’ll readily admit I’ve done some bone headed things, usually out of fatigue or distraction.
>>3001780>pouring a bag of dry cement without a maskare zoomiezooms really this soft?
>>3001015The spiteful mutant is a real thing. I felt the pull of it myself as one. Fortunately for me, I am at least over 6 feet tall, so I was able to summon the willpower to get out of that mentality and find a woman that tolerates my turbo autism.
>>3002988Based. >T. also a 6'+ Chad with a wife that lets me be extremely autistic.
>>3003094>My wife lets me
>>3003097Lol. You seem like one of those spiteful mutants >>3002988 was talking about. Oh no! I used the wrong terminology! She stays home takes care of the kiddos, keeps the house and yard tidy, puts beer in the fridge for me every day, cooks all the meals, makes sure the goods in the house are stocked up, and lets me plow her holes any time I want to, and I get to do hard physical labor and buy any toy, tool or piece of equipment I ever wanted to own.
>>3003098>You must be one of those spiteful mutants... My wife lets me do hard physical labor!
>>3000989This guy cruises the local porn store arcades. Its essential he gets all the tools into his mouth at once
>>3000989that's gen x cancer. Much worse
>>3003097>>3003104Lol whole lotta soi projection energy here...
>>3001111>>3001537>tranny mad that grandpa never loved him or supported anything in his life and trooned out out of spite and resentment.
>>3000989Essential Craftsman is based. >white>christian>conservative>married to supportive wife>has children and grandchildren>literally built homes>years spent working in the trades>made a video mourning charlie kirk and didn't let seething libtards ruin his channel>makes great videos>trains and elevates other young men wanting to make it in the tradesWhat's not to like?
>>3003984Well I’m jewish, so I want to destroy all those things, all while pissing and shitting everywhere
>>3004191Your methods are a bit questionable, but no one is arguing with the results.
>>3004191Leave your sperging at the door.
>>3000989>>3003984He's an ok guy. Definitely uses a lot of power tools in his workshop, both of which are things I can't really afford at the moment. Many times watching his methods it feels different than the way I would do things. Like the time he was putting a new handle on a knife and dulled the edge on his belt sander then resharpened it after the handle was done. I probably would have preserved the edge by wrapping it in cardboard or something. For him putting a new edge on a knife is very simple in terms of time and effort. For me putting a new edge on a knife takes a bit of time with a file and a wetstone. The equipment in your workshop changes how you think about and approach projects.>>3001111The guy invented his own hand tool to dig foundations quicker. He's a high caliber tradesman.
>>3004374He has a different way of working, yes.
