I recently found out that someone (Not going to say who.) has been smoking in the house in places i thought we agreed are no smoking areas and now i need to learn how to clean the smoke out of the rooms. Is it possible to use steam to clean a room that has been smoked in?Can i use soap water and turn it into steam, let is spread across the whole entire room and let it sit there for a while to clean the room and everything in it?Will it cause much damages to anything such as electronics and even the house itself?
>>3001460ozonezone
Humidifier with hydrogen peroxide.
>>3001461>>3001465Thanks!
>>3001460>Not going to say who.It was fucking Daniel wasn't it? That cunt.
>>3001470Be careful with ozone. I mean not only your health. I mean also that it will oxidize almost anything that can be oxidized.
>>3001460Just leave the door and window open for a few weeks. Cigarette smoke will go away given enough time. What's with people and smoke? The thing is not going to corrode your house and/or lungs
>>3001471Not OP, but I think it could also have been Peter. I never liked him very much
Put a new coat of paint on all walls, ceilings, trim, doors, etc. then replace all of the carpet if there is any. Should get rid of most of the odor.
>>3001484Thanks.>>3001594It's unhealthy, it smells bad, and even though it's gas it's something unwanted.Ya wouldn't want anyone farting hard on your couches do ya?>>3001603Thanks.
>>3001594>The thing is not going to corrode your house and/or lungsdo you work for rj reynolds?
>>3001607>smoke is gasparticulates
>>3001626>rj reynoldsHad to look that one up>It's unhealthySo is car exhaust, wood dust, nitrogen oxides, petrol, particulates from break linings, rubber particulates, etc, etc>farting hard on your couchesDude, people fart all the time. They fart, piss, spit, shed skin cells and so on, every where. Every hotel bed you have ever slept on has farts in it not to mention cum, skin cells, etc, etc.
>>3001594>Cigarette smoke will go away given enough time.Clearly you've never been in a chainsmoker's house. Not only is every surface stained with cigarette smoke, the walls/ceilings near the furnace vents will be visibly worse.>>3001885Do you often run your car in your house?
>>3001461Ozone will eat away rubber seals and make plastic brittle. Its also poisonous to animals, people, plants. But, it works better than anything else.
>>3001460Complete removal of smoke residue on surfaces requires an enzyme cleaner.
>>3002030>Clearly you've never been in a chainsmoker's housekekItt: a bunch of little girls
>>3001461>>3001465Both are very strong oxidisers, will attack and bleach textiles, fabric, plastic, wood and more. Obviously very unhealthy to inhale.
>>3001607Depends. If it's a hot/cute girl I would definitely want her brapping my couches.
>>3002037>>3002031As long as it's not long-term exposure, ozone should be fine. Damage will be negligible for a short burst. Remove anything living, block up the room, and leave an ozone source in there for a few hours. That's how hotels deal with rooms that have been smoked in, you can get high power ozone generators for this purpose.General rule of thumb is that if you can smell it, ozone levels are unhealthy to be around. Wait until it's dissipated before staying in the room for any length of time.
just open the fucking windows for 10 mins... and clean the place, bitch... this time for real... not aromatic candles.
