>>3001881i get hogie rolls from sams club, also a pack of their precooked bacon. then i go to woodmans and get the land o frost italian variety pack and also dukes mayo. I go home and then I cut the bread in half cause its like 14" long and i make 2 big sandwiches and that is it. i like to take a swig of mountain dew at the same time sometimes
>>3001881Just made some baked salmon with a lemon-dill cream sauce and sauteed parsnips.
Vanilla ice cream, milk, and Cap'n Crunch or Crunch Berries blended together, sandwiched between chocolate chip cookies, wrapped and frozen.Diabeetus here I come.
>>3001881brown pork chops or better yet pork steaks.de-glaze with left over wineadd Cream of Mushroom Soupadd fresh 'shrooms.add more wine, and some vinegar, and Rosmarysimmer tender and reduced.serve with white rice, and broc or bussual sprouts.brown chicken parts or boneless meat. add chicken bouloln cube or two, and can of green enchilda sauce, and potatoes, carrots and onions. When veg are cooked and tender, add fresh chopped Japepeno or other peppers, even Bells and simmer just until peppers are heated but still "fresh".Serve and top with cilantro.Same thing except with red sauce and beef.Add pork to chicken Mex Stew if desired.add Indian "Hot Lime Pickle" to "Picante Lime Shrimp Ramen", along with tapitia or other fish. people will think there is some new exotic restaurant in town.get bigger jar much cheaper at Indian store. Its pretty much same stuff. also serve with any fish and rice and onions sauce/lemon.eat canned Mexican brand Jalapenos with mac and cheese, or serve with Cheez-its alone with fresh onion, carrot and chedder slices.Use $1.89 pizza dough ball for rustic somewhat dense home baked bread. place in big covered pot with coating of olive oil and place in warm area for a few hours, then bake. people will think you've been slaving all day. Serve with room temp butter or use to soak up soup or mop plate.bend and cut "Toaster fork" wire into hooks to hang meat and chicken in oven to roast all around without sitting in grease. place potatoes and other veg under to catch grease and turn a couple times to brown on all sides. if desired cover pan in foil for easy clean up.Soak the chicken parts in BBQ or other sauce in fridge for a few days. Place in tubberware with enough sauce to coat and shake and turn couple times a day. Sauce wont "burn", just "reduces".
>>3001881like prepper friendly food? I made up this recipe a few months ago but I guess it's kinda prepper friendly.ingredients:>1 can no salt added black beans (don't drain)>1 can no salt added petite diced tomatoes>6 oz can tomato paste>celery chopped>red onion diced>1/2 can green chilies (I had 4 oz can so use ~2 oz)>1 clove garlic, crushed then diced>1 tbs dark chili powder (any chili powder should work)>Splash cider vinegar (roughly 1-2 tbs)>salt to tastePut all ingredients in a pot and simmer until vegetables are cooked, about 20 minutes. Little cheddar cheese on top is delicious. One time I made it using only shelf stable things (powdered onion, celery seed, etc) and it was definitely edible. Not as nearly as good as fresh ingredients but a fuck load better than nothing.a lot of veggies taste good in this so if you got anyhting about to go bad or need to use up, toss it in and see how it tastes.Dry bean instant pot adaptation:Same ingredients as above minus canned beans. I used 700 ml dried black beans cuz I'm cooking for 5+ people. Rinse well. Do not soak. Put beans in instant pot and fill with water until it looks like it is 3x higher than the beans. Pressure cook beans for 30 minutes and then allow to natural release (I quick release after ~25 minutes if there's still pressure). Activate saute mode, add veggies and salt to taste, cook until veggies look done
