>>3003835I had a cheap speaker that used a cheap lithium battery that only lasted about 4 hours on one charge. I replaced it with 2 18650s and the fucker lasted 30 hours and got a lot louder. The only issue was you couldn't turn the volume past 80 percent or you'd burn the speaker up. That and I had to hard wire in a custom charging cord so I could charge it with my 18650 charger.

>>3006147I've never had one of these magnets chip or break. I also don't think I've seen any batteries wrapped loose enough to let material slide through. Magnets are a lot easier and safer than heating a cell with a soldering iron and can be easily removed if you want to spot weld the battery later.
