I need help getting rid of these ants on my clothes line. What ant is this and what do I need to kill them? There are millions of ants. I miss air drying my clothes.

>>3004584The solution is consistently killing them in the area you don't want them. Bait traps work, find a reloadable one and just keep using it over and over. Borax and sugar is popular but you can get refillable bait traps, with poison, for about $5 so who cares. Find whatever they are swarming on, replace it with a trap, and then come back to clean and replace the trap once a day every day until the swarm leaves. Then find the next place they are eating until the queen gets fed up and just fucks off. It doesn't work quite so anthropomorphicly but that is essentially what happens.
>>3006686This anon fell for the bait trap scam. They never work and you have to use them constantly.Only larva and queens can eat solid food, all others use nectar produced by larva/the queen. Liquid bait just kills the workers, what you do is soak paper towels or cotton balls in Borax and sugar. The workers take this to the larva/queen who eat it, this kills the colony when they die.This method also kills wasps who feed in the same manner.
